Network meeting in Copenhagen

Right before Christmas holidays I participated in a productive network meeting in Copenhagen with colleagues from University of Gothenburg, University of Iceland, Aarhus University, Bath Spa University, and Inland Norway University of Applied Sciences. We gathered to discuss important issues related to migration and youth identities in Northern Europe. One of the key topics on the agenda was the publication of a new book on this subject, which promises to shed new light on the experiences of culturally diverse youths in the region. I am writing a theoretical chapter which explores theoretical underpinnings and practical value of culturally sustaining pedagogy. I am looking forward to sharing the chapter with you when it is published.

With so much expertise and enthusiasm in the room, we left the meeting feeling energised and excited about the possibilities for future collaboration and knowledge exchange.
