A book chapter entitled “We have three common enemies…”: Student teachers’ perspectives on existing prejudice in Danish multicultural schools has been accepted for publication in Challenges and Opportunities Facing Diversity in Nordic Education. The book will be published later this year and will be open-access!
An article entitled Language policies and multilingual practices in Icelandic preschools written with my colleagues from the University of Iceland, Hanna Ragnarsdóttir and Renata Emilsson Peskova has been accepted for publication in Multicultural Education Review. It will be published online later this summer.
Over the past few weeks, my research efforts have been dedicated to three new articles that delve into the following topics:
- The perspectives of Danish and Icelandic student teachers regarding culturally responsive assessment.
- The experiences of Danish student teachers of working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- The career aspirations and educational experiences of Danish-born student teachers of a transnational background.
My objective is to complete these articles before the arrival of July.
