In this module you will learn about the theoretical underpinnings of culturally relevant teaching methods. You will be introduced to the advantages of these methods as well as to the criticism thereof. Furthermore, you will learn about culturally sustaining pedagogy, which requires teachers to be more than responsive of or relevant to the cultural experiences and practices of young people.

This module includes two assignments.
